Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and BrideOS ("BrideOS", "we", "us") governing your use of our websites, web application, mobile apps, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for any collaborators you invite (partner, family, helpers).
2. Your content & responsibilities
You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display it solely to operate the Service for you. You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including other people's personal data (such as guests' details and photos), and you confirm you have the right and any necessary consent to upload it. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
3. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no illegal content, spam, harassment, scraping, reverse engineering, attempts to breach security, overloading our systems, or using AI features for anything other than your own wedding planning. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Plans, billing & refunds
A free tier is available (currently up to 50 guests). Paid upgrades are one-time purchasesprocessed securely by Stripe; they are not recurring subscriptions unless explicitly stated at checkout. Prices and plan features may change, but changes will not affect a purchase you have already completed. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
5. AI output — no reliance
The Service includes AI features that generate suggestions, drafts, budgets, timelines, images, and similar content. This output is provided "as is" for convenience and inspiration only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and it is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or contractual advice. Always confirm prices, availability, dates, and legal requirements directly with vendors and qualified professionals. You are solely responsible for any decision based on AI output.
6. Third parties & vendors
The Service may surface or link to vendors, registries, and other third-party services we do not control. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any agreement, transaction, dispute, quality issue, or loss between you and any vendor or third party. Any such dealings are solely between you and them.
7. Availability & changes
We work hard to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. We are not liable for any unavailability or data not being delivered.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that results obtained will be accurate or reliable.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrideOS and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or wedding-related costs, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you; where mandatory consumer rights apply, nothing in these Terms limits them.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BrideOS from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights — including claims by your guests or vendors.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) will survive.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at BrideOS's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. You agree to first contact us to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing formal proceedings.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
